Ground Beef and Bean Chili
The snow is coming down again in Dallas today. Schools are closed, and people are working from home. So what sounds better than a slow cooked pot of chili for dinner? Nothin'!
Here's my go-to Chili recipe. You're sure to enjoy!
Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground chuck (or chili meat found behind your meat counter)
1 medium sweet onion, chopped
5 garlic cloves, minced
2 (15 ounce) cans organic pinto beans, rinsed and drained
2 (8 ounce) cans organic crushed tomatoes
1 (8 ounce) can organic diced tomatoes
1 (12 ounce) bottle dark beer
1 (14 ounce) can low-sodium organic beef broth
1 (6 ounce) can organic tomato paste
1 (7 ounce) can chopped green chiles
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
dash sea salt and pepper
Preparation:
In a 5 quart Crock Pot, add ground beef, onion and garlic. Turn on LOW. Then add all remaining ingredients (beans through Tabasco). Stir all ingredients together until mixed well. Simmer for 4 hours.
Garnish with all the fresh fixins!
Picked jalapeno slices
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Sour Cream
Cilantro
Guacamole
Fresh Chopped Tomatoes
-Your options are endless!
Enjoy, mis amigos!
