Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep

"Every time we're hurt or feel we can't go on, it's someone reaching out and connecting that makes the difference." - Oprah

Flowers from dear friends. Your thought and love means the world to us.

Recently, Daniel and I found ourselves rejoicing and then weeping over the same topic within just a little more than month's time. The initial love and excitement we received from our friends and family was as equally important as their sorrow and support when things totally changed.

I believe it took me going through this experience to understand the significance of rejoicing with those that rejoice, and weeping with those that weep.

"If we rejoice only in our own victories, we miss the wonder of celebrating the power of the Lord, who desires to accomplish His purposes in and through others as well. If we mourn only our own losses, we lose the opportunity to 'be there' for those who are hurting by showing them compassion.

Life is filled with extremes of joy and sorrow, victory and defeat. But we have been given the privilege of entering into those moments in people's lives to see the grace of God at work. Don't miss it!" - Bill Crowder

Love in Action

"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.

Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patience in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to the hospitality.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

Be one of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion."

-Romans 12:9-16

A healthy check up, strong heart beat and two people who have never been more excited in their lives. Look at our perfect little baby...what a sweet little angel.

Now tucking it all away into a special box, because now is not the right time. We have total faith that we will have children in God's time. We so appreciate your cards, loving gifts, notes and emails these past few weeks. They will always be a reminder of your support and love.

If anyone is going through a similar situation and needs to talk, I'm here for you. It was through talking with other women who've been through the same thing that I found a lot of answers and healing. And the best news of all is that God wants only the greatest good for our lives! AND healthy babies do come after miscarriages!

Our Baby Angel in Heaven and our dear Lord have brought us a lot of peace in the past weeks. Thank you for your prayers; we've received them all.

With lots of love,
Lindsey
